Introduction In today’s global environment managing business has increased in its complexity. It goes beyond customizing a known product for a particular customer and involves addressing all the external and internal issues which may exist and at the same time having competitive advantage in the market. It is the test of capabilities of any company operating in a complex and disorganized environment. For example: the value proposition of southwest airline is based safety reliability, friendliness and inexpensive service. Also, Wal-Mart’s â€Å"Everyday low price† is a strategic value proposition. Therefore Value creation is an important part of business strategy and lays down the core competencies which are required to succeed using those competencies. Value is created when product characteristics such as service, design, support, matches speciï ¬ c customer needs. If you are not able to communicate your value to the potential customers, why would they place value in what you are offering? If you are not able to tell the customers why they should desire your product and why they should pay what you are asking, why would the customers.
